1. Fixture-Datei — Home + Heute. Stale? Puls sagt es.

2. Boards — /streams/. Können OK sein, während die ESPN-Datei im August hängt.

3. Rechte-Karte — Compass + Clash. Welche offizielle App das Fenster trägt.

Was ein Verdict heißt

OK = Seite antwortet. OFF-EVENT = kein Event im Fenster. BLOCKED = Bot/Geo. DEAD = Link rot. Nicht „Video spielt“.

Refresh ist für Dateien, die sich bewegen

Home holt alle 60s neu, wenn der Tab sichtbar ist. Liste neu laden liest die Datei nochmal. Ist sie stale, bleibt sie ehrlich stale. Boards: /streams/.

Three layers, three doors

1. The fixture file — matches.json, rendered on the home list and Heute. When GCS billing is closed the upload dies and the window stays in early August. /pulse/ will say stale. We keep the list. We do not relabel it as tonight.

2. The boards — vipbox.lc/<sport>-schedule plus a second source where it still answers. Collected on /streams/. A board can be OK on a Tuesday in September even if the ESPN file is from August. That is not a contradiction. They are different objects.

3. The rights map — Kickoff Compass and Abo-Clash. Which official app carries the window. Not a stream. A shopping list you already paid for and still missed.

What a verdict actually means

The last board check lives in stream_check_report.json and is printed on Pulse and /streams/:

  • OK — the category page answered. Not „the player started“.
  • OFF-EVENT — page exists, nothing live/imminent in that sport's window.
  • BLOCKED — bot or geo fence on the bare URL (often HTTP 451). A browser may still see it. We do not lie and call it dead, and we do not lie and call it playing.
  • DEAD — outbound rotten. We drop or fix the URL. That is the whole point of curation.

search-stream died in the September vipbox hop. It stays in comments, not in the buttons.

Refresh is for files that move

Home still re-fetches every 60 seconds when the tab is visible. Liste neu laden clears the last snapshot and reads again. When the file is stale you get the same honest snapshot. That is better than a heartbeat GIF.
